WCCED has completed renovation of an historic train station. The 2,575 square foot facility is located along Route 40 at 301 South Main in the City of Washington. The station is an excellent example of the small town railway station built in Shingle Style. It was constructed in 1882 and is notable for it's heavy rusticated stone base and broad overhanging slate roof. The structure is now the home of the Washington County Tourism Promotion Agency. |
